Delete account
Deleting your account signs you out everywhere and prevents you from signing in again.
Your record is kept for 30 days rather than erased straight away, and during that time you can restore the account by signing in with your usual password. After that it is permanently deleted, and your email address and username are released — they can be used to create a new, separate account, which will not have any of your data.
Data held by individual services about you is separate and is not deleted by this action.
What we keep afterwards. When your account is permanently deleted we keep one thing: a scrambled, one-way fingerprint of your email address — not the address itself, and nothing that can be turned back into it. It exists only so that a free trial cannot be claimed over and over by deleting an account and signing up again. It holds no name, no history, and nothing about what you did here. It is deleted automatically 12 months after we first saw the address, after which this service has no record of you at all.
